Most Expensive Apartment in London

  Most Expensive Apartment in London

And who says real estate agents are schmucks?

A 77 square foot apartment in London is being sold for $335,000, but could go higher if it goes to auction. Its more than $4,000 per square foot. Good thing its not a fixer upper.  Oh wait, it is. The realtor says it’ll cost another $60,000 to make the place habitable.

The story  says that similar apartments go for $5,300 per square foot in New York and $3,900 per square foot in Hong Kong. Hong Kong makes sense, the people are shorter, but come on now.

Why so much, you ask? It’s within walking distance of Harrod’s and Hyde Park. Unfortunately, if you buy something at Harrod’s it won’t fit in your spankin’ new pad. And if you pick up someone at Hyde Park, you can’t bring them home to your formerly condemned closet.

Hey, but if having a Hyde Park address is that important to you, who am I to argue? I have a dumpster on the corner (only about 16 square feet) that is even closer. I’ll gladly rent it out, for say, $2,000 per square foot. 50% savings right there. Any takers?
